Operation method of fire pump

1 . Diversion
When the fire truck takes the water from the water tank, push the butterfly valve handle in the direction indicated by the opening to open the butterfly valve, and the water flows into the pump from the water tank.
When using water from a fire hydrant. Connect the suction pipe to the hydrant, and water flows from the hydrant into the pump.

V. Tank filling, pump suction and outlet water
1 . There are two ways to fill the tank with water;
(1) Hydrant water injection
a Park the vehicle according to the parking steps, and take out the fire hose and hydrant wrench;
b. Use a water hose to connect the indoor and outdoor water injection ports of the pump to the fire hydrant;
c Use a hydrant wrench to open the hydrant valve until the tank is full.
(2) River channel, pond, deep well water injection
aStop the vehicle according to the parking steps, and take out the suction pipe, water filter and suction pipe wrench;
b Install the suction pipe on the water inlet of the fire pump and connect it to a suitable length. Install a water filter at the end of the suction pipe. Sink into a river or pond well.

The foam liquid mixing device is installed on the pump and includes a water pipeline, a ball valve, a liquid inlet pipe, a regulating valve, a three-way pipe, and a liquid outlet hose.
When the pressure water of the pump passes through the pressure pipe, the cock, and enters the mixer nozzle. When the pressure water is sprayed through the nozzle, a negative pressure is formed in the mixing chamber. At this time, the foam liquid in the foam tank passes the liquid pipe, the ball valve, and the regulating valve. The holes are automatically sucked into the mixing chamber. After mixing with the water sprayed from the nozzle in the mixing chamber, it flows to the pump through the spray pipe, liquid discharge pipe, and elbow. After the mixture is mixed and pressurized in the pump again, most of it is sent to the spray equipment. Foam is formed and sprayed out, and a small part enters the mixer to continue the ring pump operation.
When in use, first open the stuffing cap of the water injection liquid port of the foam tank, then press the mixer handwheel according to the foam injection equipment used, adjust the foam flow to the positioning hole position, and then open the cock on the pressure water line and the ball valve of the inlet pipe. According to the working pressure of the foam spray equipment, the pressure of the water pump is adjusted. The mixer provides the mixed liquid according to the ratio. The liquid enters the pump from the outlet pipe, and then supplies the foam liquid to the foam spray equipment. Fire scene, put out the fire.
Foam fire extinguishing: Foam liquid and self-priming foam liquid can be transported in the tank. The former uses a proportional mixer to suck the foam liquid in the tank, and the water is pumped to the air foam generator to produce the foam. The latter uses a water pump to supply water, and the foam is sucked in through the suction tube of the air foam gun to produce foam, which is used to extinguish the fire.
(1) Foam liquid in the transportation tank:

(2) Self-priming foam liquid
